Studio is now open!

Posted by / 14th April 2021 / Categories: Uncategorised / -

Yay!! I can now welcome back clients into my studio! Due to the rules, this currently means I can only shoot one household and bubble, due to the size of the studio interior x by ventilation. This is to keep everyone safe. Masks must be worn on arrival and worn again when not in front of the camera. The studio is Covid safe and so clients/visitors must use the hand sanitiser provided, keeping a safe social distance where possible. All equipment, door handles, pens etc are cleaned thoroughly after each client visit. Appointments are spread out through the week to allow for cleaning and refreshing of air, on a one-client-per- day basis, for your safety. Hope to see you soon!

April 12th 2021….

Well…the time is almost upon us when I can once again shoot in the studio! All of those out there that have vouchers….now is the time to book in!

It’s also a great time to get the family together for a photoshoot (Currently only one household, rule-of-six applies) and share some love! Any larger groups will unfortunately have to wait for May/June, unless wanting a shoot outdoors.

Keep staying safe and keeping your distance for now! Looking forward to creating some awesome, long awaited images of you all!

Vouchers still available!

Sadly, due to the latest Covid restrictions, I cannot currently shoot families or individuals in the studio or on location – but I CAN offer photoshoot vouchers for you to save until the appropriate time. These can be pre-purchased for occasions such as Mother’s Day etc. or any other occasions but deferred until after lockdown..

*Please note: All shoots are undertaken following Covid safety guidelines. This may impact on the amount of people within the studio subject to these guidelines. Vouchers are valid for three months but can be extended for free, with prior notice.

New Magazine!

Posted by / 12th October 2020 / Categories: Uncategorised / -

I’m excited to introduce my first magazine! This is to introduce a quick overview of my services, so that you can choose the type of photoshoot you would like to book! This magazine illustrates mainly family oriented photoshoots; but please stand by for issue number two, which will encompass and showcase my specially themed packages, Christmas Offers and also my commercial services.

Exciting news! Having been closed for business longer than most other studios for the safety of my clients, I have now made the decision to re-open! However, this will be on a more restricted basis, due to social distancing.

The studio is now prepped and ready to receive clients, following government guidelines. As it is an enclosed space, masks are mandatory until the point of posing for photographs. I of course will be wearing a mask at all times and also offer contactless hand sanitiser points, along with social distance floor markings to stop any possibility of infection. This also means that I have had to restrict the number of people in the studio to 4/5 and can no longer shoot larger family groups indoors but can arrange to shoot you all on location, such as a park or in the countryside.

To further keep everyone safe, all parts of the studio are treated with anti-virus spray, before and after each client visit.

Above all, I want you to feel safe and confident about coming into my studio in order for you to have a pleasant, enjoyable and relaxed time!

Well! What a busy month January was! Didn’t even have time to update this site! Now I’m into February and lots of commercial shoots planned including video productions for fashion and music. Last month was full of portraiture, headshots, newborn babies, families and of course, lots of time editing, keeping me up until the early hours!

February looks like it will also be the month in which clients cash in their photoshoot vouchers, bought for them at Christmas! How long ago is that? Soon be Christmas!

With Valentine’s Day behind us, the next stop is Mother’s Day, for which I’m offering vouchers for those interested in treating Mum to a series of images that become a slice of time in this journey of ours.

Don’t delay! Get yours today!

Corby Christening

Recent pics from a lovely Christening service in Corby. Star of the show was this little cutie who was always smiling and happy! Luckily, the rain held off so I could take shots outside at the celebration afterward.

Fine Art Portraits

Posted by / 13th April 2019 / Categories: Uncategorised / -

Introducing Fine Art Portraits into my services. These images are very painterly, hence the title! The theme involves sourcing props or costumes to illustrate an idea and you are welcome to collaborate by bringing your own moodboard or props. Once the shoot is completed, I get to work in photoshop and can combine other elements to the image that were not present at the time, to create something truly unique. Whether it’s a picture of one of your children or an image you have always fancied having of yourself, please contact me to collaborate and discuss a concept that would look amazing hanging on your wall at home!

New Baby Shoot!

Posted by / 19th October 2018 / Categories: Uncategorised / -

A beautiful baby girl taken in my cosy studio recently. I was able to quickly capture this lovely smile before she drifted off to sleep. When it comes to taking shots of newborns, you have to be patient and make sure baby is comfortable and happy with help from mum! It’s also nice to get shots while baby is fast asleep and able to pose them a little. It’s all about baby, so no rush and no time limit for this type of shoot as they can be unpredictable with mood, feeds and nappy changing – all of which is not a problem as long as we make the most of the bits in between!
